Spicewalla, an AAPI-owned spice brand, brings thoughtful touches into their unboxing experience.

Spicewalla's unboxing experience including Chilli kit and individual spices

Upon opening the box, customer are greeted with a Spicewalla care card and a ‘spicy’ sticker. The front of the care card features branded illustrations of the spices, the location of where the company is based out of, and their social handle.

On the back of the card, the Spicewalla teaches customers how to care for their spices. This includes explaining why their spice jars are so small, where in a cabinet to store the spices, and how to enhance the flavors of the spices by slightly toasting them.

Spicewalla's Hot Stuff Chilli Collection box

Spicewalla’s 6 Pack HotStuff Chilli Collection box is covered with illustrated chills and the product name is in a unique logo. On the back of the collection, the different chillis included in the kit are highlighted, in addition to where the spices were sourced from.

Fennel Seed tin from Spicewalla

Spicewalla’s individual spice tins are beautifully designed to make their customer’s spice cabinet look even nicer. The name of the spice is clearly labelled in the front, with the brand’s logo and tagline ‘Small Batch. Superior Flavor. Best Quality Always’.

The side of the package explains that the spices are hand selected and freshly packed. The back of the tin reminds customers that they can go to the website to find recipes for cooking inspiration.
